Partnering with China Railway First Group to Support the Development of the Guangdong‑hong Kong‑macao Greater Bay Area
The Guangzhou‑Foshan Loop Line (Foshan West Station to Guangzhou North Station section), a cross‑city intercity railway within the Guangzhou metropolitan area of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area, is an important part of the Pearl River Delta intercity railway network. Upon completion, the project will help form a complete grand ring line for the Guangzhou‑Foshan intercity railway network. At this project site, two 100‑ton double‑girder gantry cranes, specially designed for muck removal in subway construction and manufactured by Shanghai SheenCranes, are being used for lifting and transporting excavated soil and other materials during subway construction. These are currently among the largest‑capacity crane complete sets used in this field in China.
Designed in line with the trend of green industrial development and custom‑developed to meet the project's specific requirements and operating conditions, these cranes feature a lifting depth of up to 40 meters below the track for the spreader. The gantry structure has been optimized through computer‑aided design and analysis, ensuring a more rational overall structure. Strict inspection and control, together with precision manufacturing processes, guarantee product quality. Safety protection devices are incorporated into all critical operations such as travelling and hoisting, making the cranes safer, more efficient, and more reliable.
By partnering with China Railway First Group, Shanghai SheenCranes is jointly accelerating the construction of the Guangzhou‑Foshan Loop Line project, playing its part in the development of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area.
In terms of global layout, Sheen Cranes actively responds to the "Belt and Road" Initiative, deepening its overseas market expansion.
